Concluding that we needed to find an enchanter, we began our search for Hail in the boiler district at The Crooked Bone tavern
Upon arriving she revealed herself to us and tasked us with helping her before she would aid us
She desired an orb from the Frozen Hollow, gave us a map and sent us on our way
We easily found the location in question and fought our way through the frigid cavern and obtained the orb
We returned it to Hail who seems intrigued by it and continues on to explain how, for enough gold, she can enhance our powers through the creation of custom orbs not unlike this one
She also offers to help us with our problem

After explaining to Hail what we wanted to do (ie close the rift) she explained she would require an elemental censer and knew just where to find one
After a day’s journey we arrived with Hail at our destination: another crypt
Upon entering we discovered, not surprisingly, more cultists
We dealt with them and escorted Hail through the trap-laden crypt, constantly pursued by undead as they spawned around us
We finally made our way to the room containing the censer which Hail used to immolate all remaining threats
After following the directions we found in the crypt we came upon what looked to be the cult’s base of operations
As we entered the crypt we were immediately confronted by a group of cultists seemingly summoning Night Demons through a gaping rift
We dispatched them along with both Flame and Frost Demons in adjacent rooms then took a moment to examine the portal
It appears our options at this point are to enter the rift and see where it leads, or alternatively, we could seek out the Aesther enchanter in Gloomhaven and find out about closing the rift instead
Discovered an ancient crypt while investigating the area near the bandit lair for more information on ‘Gloom’
As we entered the crypt we stumbled upon more bandits and undead and quickly dispatched them
As we continued through the crypt we came across powerful Earth and Wind Demons who we dealt with accordingly
We seem to have interrupted some manner of ritual to bring these Demons to our plane and discovered scribblings detailing a couple more places of interest nearby
We can either continue to interrupt these cultists at the Ruinous Crypt (S05) or attempt to get in their good graces by clearing out a threat at the Decaying Crypt (S06)
Following the map, we easily found the encampment and approached
We pushed through a small cluster of huts into a cave and came upon half a dozen crying children and a small fortification of Inox
Despite the children, we dispatched the Inox present and returned to Jeksereh
Jeksereh disregarded our concerns, gave us our reward and offered us another task, this time retrieving a diamond from and old mine overrun with vermlings
As we left, a Quatryl guard named Argeise told us there was more to Jeksereh than meets the eye
Argeise claims Jeksereh is attempting to overthrow the militia and it we want to help find proof we can go with her (instead?)
